FuelForLess respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

1. What data do we collect?

• Location data: Your current location is used to find nearby fuel stations. Location data is not stored on our servers.
• Vehicle settings: Fuel type, tank size, and consumption. These are stored locally on your device.
• Search history: Routes and searches are stored locally and not shared.

2. How do we use your data?

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Show nearby fuel stations and prices
• Calculate savings and travel costs
• Send price notifications (if enabled)

3. Do we share data with third parties?

No. FuelForLess does not sell or share personal data with third parties. We use the following external services:

• OpenRouteService: For route calculation (only start/end points, no personal data)
• Tankerkoenig, ANWB, Carbu.com, Prix Carburants: For current fuel prices

4. Storage and security

All personal preferences are stored locally on your device via Android DataStore. No accounts are created and no data is sent to our servers.

5. Your rights

Because all data is stored locally, you have full control. You can at any time:

• Delete the app to erase all data
• Clear app data via Android settings
• Revoke location access via system settings
